Tilting Theory and Cluster Combinatorics

چکیده
We introduce a new category C, which we call the cluster category, obtained as a quotient of the bounded derived category D of the module category of a finite-dimensional hereditary algebra H over a field. We show that, in the simply-laced Dynkin case, C can be regarded as a natural model for the combinatorics of the corresponding Fomin–Zelevinsky cluster algebra. In this model, the tilting objects correspond to the clusters of Fomin–Zelevinsky. Using approximation theory, we investigate the tilting theory of C, showing that it is more regular than that of the module category itself, and demonstrating an interesting link with the classification of self-injective algebras of finite representation type. This investigation also enables us to conjecture a generalisation of APR-tilting.

On Tilting Modules over Cluster-tilted Algebras
In this paper, we show that the tilting modules over a clustertilted algebra A lift to tilting objects in the associated cluster category CH . As a first application, we describe the induced exchange relation for tilting Amodules arising from the exchange relation for tilting object in CH . As a second application, we exhibit tilting A-modules having cluster-tilted endomorphism algebras. Cluste...

We show that a certain orbit category considered by Keller encodes the combinatorics of the m-clusters of Fomin and Reading in a fashion similar to the way the cluster category of Buan, Marsh, Reineke, Reiten, and Todorov encodes the combinatorics of the clusters of Fomin and Zelevinsky. This allows us to give type-uniform proofs of certain results of Fomin and Reading in the simply laced cases...
متن کاملDefining an m−cluster category
In this paper, starting with a simply laced root system, we define a triangulated category which we call the m-cluster category, and we show that it encodes the combinatorics of the m-clusters of Fomin and Reading in a fashion similar to the way the cluster category of Buan, Marsh, Reineke, Reiten, and Todorov encodes the combinatorics of the clusters of Fomin and Zelevinsky. For Φ any root sys...
متن کاملBgp-reflection Functors and Cluster Combinatorics
We define Bernstein-Gelfand-Ponomarev reflection functors in the cluster categories of hereditary algebras. They are triangle equivalences which provide a natural quiver realization of the ”truncated simple reflections” on the set of almost positive roots Φ≥−1 associated to a finite dimensional semisimple Lie algebra. Combining with the tilting theory in cluster categories developed in [4], we ...
